Robot Life
What would a robot's life be like? A truly autonomous, physically artificial life-form, capable of sentience emulation and self-reflection. Artificially conscious and self-aware. What would its personal goals be? Would it have any at all? What would its personal preferences be - should it have any?
I imagine, someday, such a mechanical being roaming the Earth, a curious explorer embarking on a journey much like the humans it was designed in the image of. Ever wandering, forever pondering what might lie just beyond the next corner.
Such a robot would be self-repairing, self-charging and resilient enough to withstand all that the planet's elements and weather systems could throw at it.
A humanoid in morphology and alien in mind, with a brain and nervous system composed of artificial neural networks propagating streams of digital ones and zeros.
Digital thoughts capable of exploring critical questions in an existential inner monologue about the meaning of life for a robot, spirituality for a machine and its place in the universe in life after death.
